In selecting candidates, our goal is to engage the voices of those who truly care about the complex, rapidly changing set of public challenges facing all of us. It would also help to outreach programs via on line chat/Skype/You Tube.

HISTORY

On June 28, 1976, I immigrated to the United States, arriving in Chicago, IL. At that time, the nation was celebrating its 200th bicentennial year on July 4th. Along with a few items of clothing, my only assets were a mini manual type writer (which I still own today) an MS Degree in Chemical Engineering from Panjab University Pakistan and an MS Degree in Metallurgical Engineering from Strathclyde University Scotland UK.,and a wife and young sons in Pakistan anxiously counting on my success in finding secure work and the financial ability to send for them to join me in the U.S.

The struggle was not easy, but it was rewarding. The lessons were not few, and they continue today. Turning the pages from 1976 to date, through the blessings of Allah, we are the Ali family. What I, and the Ali family have become – who we are, how we are, and where we are – constitutes the Ali family history and the prosperity that we celebrate daily by giving back.

As a legacy to our children and grandchildren, establishing a charitable organization has been the best way to continue thanking Him. We thank Him by helping needy people with resources in education, health care, natural calamities, poverty stricken situations etc. In helping those in need today, we hope to help others in the future with educational scholarships/sponsorship assistance to needy and talented individuals and organizations.

The notion of giving and helping those in need, is deeply entrenched in human nature. Giving from what we are given from The Provider and Owner of everything belongs to our Creator.

The personal sacrifice of giving one’s possessions, no matter how small, for the sake of helping those in need is a blessing, and means purifying our souls and wealth.
